School Year Programs
During the school year Frankland Day Care operates from 7:30am – 6:00pm!
We run three separate programs on-site at Frankland Community Public School. Frankland Day Care’s dedicated staff plan exciting age appropriate programs to stimulate your children’s interests, promote exploration and creativity.
Frankland Day Care is participating in the Canada Wide Early Learning & Child Care (CWELCC) system. The CWELCC system supports quality, accessible, affordable and inclusive early learning in licensed child care settings serving eligible children under the age of six. Participating in the CWELCC system saw daily fees decrease by 25% in 2022 and beginning January 2023 by 52.75%
JK/SK program:
The Kindergarten program operates from inside Frankland Public school (Room #104 – Entrance is from the backfield area Door 4 B). The Kindergarten children eat lunch with their school classrooms.
7:30am – 8:40am & 3:20pm – 6:00pm
Jr. School-age:
The Jr. School-age program operates out of the second portable in the back field (P#2). Parents have the option to send their School aged children to join our lunch program, or eat in school.
7:30am – 8:40am, 11:30am – 12:40pm & 3:30pm – 6:00pm
Sr. School-age:
Our Sr. School-age program operates out of the fourth portable in the back field (P#4). Parents have the option to send their School aged children to join our lunch program, or eat in school.
7:30am – 8:40am, 11:30am – 12:40pm & 3:30pm – 6:00pm
*Morning and afternoon snacks are provided & offered to the children
Let’s Get Outside!
Exercise is a vital part of child development. Frankland Day Care plans for our programs to be outdoors as much as possible (weather permitting). Gross motor activities are integrated into each of Frankland Day Care’s programs through planned and child-initiated activities.
Lunch Program
Frankland Day Care offers our lunch program for our Jr. & Sr. School-age children (grades 1-6)! Our lunch program is optional – your children may attend Frankland School’s lunch program if you choose. Frankland Day Care does offer optional hot catered lunches from M. Albert Catering (catered lunches grades 1 – 6 only).
SUMMER PROGRAM 2026!!
Frankland Day Care will be accepting Summer Registration forms on Friday March 6th 2026 (9:00am).
During the summer school break Frankland Day Care accepts weekly enrollment from the community. Your child(ren) does not have to be enrolled during the school year to attend our summer program!!!
Please Note: Frankland Day Care hours of operation during the summer are 8:30am – 5:00pm
Looking for a few weeks of care (or all summer) for your child(ren) this summer? Frankland Day Care operates our Summer Program on a weekly basis.
During the summer months catered lunch is available in all age groups (JK/SK – Jr. & Sr. School age).
Frankland Day Care Summer Programs highlight a variety of specialty on-site performances/ activities to accent the dynamic programs our staff plan each week.
